Overview

LeakRemover’s whitelist ensures that your official accounts, social profiles, and authorized websites are never reported or flagged as leaks.
The system automatically skips any link that matches your whitelist — keeping your brand and verified pages safe from false DMCA actions.

1. When and Where to Add Your Whitelist

You can add or update your whitelist at any time:

  • During the onboarding process, where you define your main social profiles and domains.

  • Later, in your Settings → Whitelist section inside the dashboard.

Adding all your legitimate accounts during onboarding helps the AI instantly distinguish between your real profiles and unauthorized copies.

2. What You Can Add to the Whitelist

You can whitelist both:

  • Domains / URLs (e.g. https://onlyfans.com/creatorname, https://www.instagram.com/creatorname/)

  • Usernames / Social Handles (e.g. @creatorname, creatorname_official)

The AI uses both the URL and username to identify your official online presence across platforms.

3. How It Works

Once your whitelist is set, LeakRemover’s system automatically:

  • Skips all scans for any domain or account on the list.

  • Prevents takedown submissions for those URLs.

  • Tags any matching content internally as “Whitelisted — No Action”.

This guarantees that your own posts or collaborations aren’t mistakenly flagged or removed.

4. Warnings and Protection

If the system detects potential self-reports — for example, if one of your official links isn’t on your whitelist — you may receive a warning inside the dashboard.
This warning lets you quickly confirm that the page is legitimate and add it to your whitelist if needed.

It’s important to review warnings regularly, especially if you open new profiles or work with multiple accounts.

5. Updating Your Whitelist

You can modify your whitelist at any time from your dashboard settings.
New entries take effect immediately for all future scans.
However, updates are not retroactive — links already scanned before the change will keep their previous status.

To apply new whitelist rules to older detections, you can manually mark those links as Ignored or contact support to refresh the scan.

FAQ

Q: Do I need to add every platform manually?
Yes — it’s best to include all your social media, link hubs, and any site that officially represents you.

Q: Can I whitelist subdomains?
Yes. Adding a root domain (e.g. creatorname.com) automatically protects all subdomains under it.

Q: What happens if I forget to whitelist one of my accounts?
If the system detects it, you’ll see a dashboard warning. You can mark it as safe directly from there.

Q: Can I remove items from my whitelist later?
Yes. You can edit or delete whitelist entries anytime from your account settings.
